1. How do
your personal / unique qualities best fit the International
Pageant system?
The IPS strives to encourage and
promote the success of married women and to "make a
difference". It is my life's work to make a difference in
other’s lives. From volunteering and fund raising for
various causes to educating people around me I believe that
I make a difference everyday.
2. What is
something that few people know about you?
I turned down a college scholarship (tennis) to attend a
college in Kansas because I was too scared to move that
far away from my mom and dad. It was only a 3 hour
drive away!
3. What do
you do to stay healthy?
Having
a full-time career and two small children makes it
difficult to find the time to exercise. To conquer this,
I simply pack up my boys and hit our favorite trail. Not
only am I able to get in my own exercise I set a healthy
example for my children.4.
4.
Everyone talks
about “Family Values”. What are they?
Love and integrity- Integrity is
like this seed of inspiration that constantly grows inside
of me and my family, helping us do the right things, even
when no one is looking. Integrity is the key family value
that my husband and I are proud to pass along to our
children.
5. What
is your worst habit? Why?
My
worst habit is not taking enough time for myself. This
causes me to "run out of gas" once in a while because I
am most often focused on the well being of the people
around me.
