1. How do
your personal / unique qualities best fit the International
Pageant system?
I have always been taught
that it is more important to be beautiful on the inside
and then that beauty will reflect upon your outward
appearance! Kindness, integrity and taking pride in your
community are a few of the core values that I share with
the International Pageant System.
2. What is
something that few people know about you?
I
was 10 and taking swimming lessons. We were swimming in
the deep end, I panicked, went under, then rescued and
revived by my instructor. I’ve never swam well and have
always been afraid of the deep water. In 1999, I took
adult swimming lessons and overcame my fear.
3. What do
you do to stay healthy?
I eat well, exercise and
get adequate rest. I am a morning person and I love my
morning quiet time. It is the time that I can reflect
upon the day ahead. When I do this regularly, my day is
less stressful and I am a better wife and mother.
4.
Everyone talks
about “Family Values”. What are they?
Having strong family
values is our way of life. We try to instill a strong
belief system in our daughter by teaching her to have
responsibility, kindness, integrity and forgiveness.
Basically, to treat others just like you would want to
be treated.
5. What
is your worst habit? Why?
I always want to take
charge and do everything myself. I guess it’s because
I’m the oldest child in my family. Sometimes I seem
overbearing and demanding because I want everything to
be done a certain way. I need to realize that I’m not
superwoman and accept help offered.
